Thanks for attending!

Why?

The European Algae Biomass Association (EABA) aims to promote a strong link between science, technology and business in the algae biomass sector. Microalgae cultivation for multiple purposes is very relevant for the algae biomass sector. Fucoxanthin is clearly the next pigment from  algae following the steps of astaxanthin. The webinar aims to bring attention to the topic and provide information from / to the key players in the sector.

The workshop has a compact format with views from different perspectives: Academic as well as company presentations. There is one opening presentation of 40 minutes framing the topic and providing the latest insides. All the participants will have the opportunity to present themselves for 2 minutes. This makes all attendees get to know each other what opens the discussion easier and forms a format of openness and sharing valuable information with others.  There will be minutes or a summary from the webinar with the key conclusions.

More information

This workshop model was successfully used in 6 EABA Workshops in 2019. It is not a conference, but rather a unique opportunity for learning and sharing knowing the key players.

Workshop Chair:

Silvio Mangini, EABA Steering Board Member; Technical Manager. Archimede Ricerche srl – gruppo A&A F.lli Parodi (Italy)

Workshop coordination:

Jean-Paul Cadoret – President of EABA, CSO ALGAMA, France
Vítor Verdelho – General Manager of EABA; Council Member of the Executive Committee of ISAP – International Society for Applied Phycology; Member of the Board A4F – Algae for Future, sa, Portugal
